Lavender Insurance Agency was established as a result of a life-long dream of mine to open an independent insurance agency. My journey began in 1980, after graduating from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Go Vols! I began my insurance career with Life, Health, Annuities and supplemental insurance in Memphis, Tennessee. In 1992, I moved to Des Moines, IA, where I continued my insurance career as a Property & Casualty Agent. While working with two of the largest agencies in Des Moines, I was fortunate to acquire experience and knowledge in this field.
